Swimming Carnival
The Swimming Carnival for Years 2 - 6 is on this Monday 25 February. Kindergarten and Year One students will attend school as usual.
The entries have been checked and finalised, therefore no late entries can be accepted.
Thank you to all the parent helpers who have volunteered. You should have received a note showing the job you have been allocated. As we don’t have any reserve parent volunteers, please let us know if you can’t make it for any reason. Your WWVP card must be in date and be carried with you on the day of the carnival. If you are waiting on your card (or intend to apply), and still wish to help out, stat decs are available for you to fill in at the pool.
- Children may wear house colours over their swimmers (sports uniform is not required)
- Sun smart - hat, sunscreen, t-shirt
- Water bottle
- Towel
- Recess and lunch
- No coloured hairspray
A canteen operates at the pool and the children will be able to purchase snacks throughout the day. Please ensure only a small amount of money is taken to the pool.
Gelato Day
Gelato day is next Tuesday 26 February. Order forms need to be returned to the front office with payment by tomorrow. The order form can be found on the schools website
Family Mass
All Rosary families are invited to attend our Family Mass this Sunday at 10am, Holy Rosary Church.
Come along and be part of your parish community!
The parish provide a free sausage sizzle after Mass especially for us. This is always popular with the children and provides a great opportunity for families to have a chat.
Peace and best wishes

Chess club started up this week! It's not too late if your child/ren are interested in attending this after school hours activity. Please contact me directly through the school and I will give you further information about ACT Junior Chess League and their program! We operate by the term, every Tuesday 3.10-4.30pm in our Library at a cost of $90 per term.
Sandy Vincent
We are very fortunate to have Mr Ederle continue sharing his passion for model aero planes!
Following on from last year’s successful Aero Club, we are initiating another group of enthusiastic students to learn how to use the flight simulator software installed on the library computers. Some trained students from last year will support the new recruits ! Thank you Peter, for giving up your time and sharing your knowledge. This club is a very popular lunchtime activity, one we try to do at least twice a year.
As part of the new Makerspace we are setting up shortly, we are asking for donations of specific items. Over the term the requests will vary, but to begin with we would happily accept any of the following items that may be lying around at home and no longer needed:
- Hot glue guns
- Hardware tools (e.g. lightweight hammers, screwdrivers, chisels, pliers)
- Egg cartons (must be clean)
- Straws
- Maths compass or other drawing tools
- Old xrays (that will be cut up)
- Corrugated cardboard (clean and flat)
- Empty plastic bottles (clean and dry)
- Small elastic bands (loom band size)
All donations can be sent to 4 London or left at the front office.
More information will be available shortly about our Makerspace Invention Lab. Watch this space!
Thank you in advance
Kath Watson
